For the past four months I have been looking forward to spending a wonderful, warm, child-free week in Hawaii with my sweet husband. This week has been full of anticipation and stress. Here's a quick run down of the details.
Rough patches
* Sunday- Megan comes home from church with pink eye.
* Saturday- Megan tested positive for H1N1 (swine flu).
* Person planning to watch the kids while we are gone opted out, 4 days to find a back up plan. Someone who doesn't mind tending a very sick little girl.
* Stressed out about have an ocean between me and my unhealthy little ones.
Sunny spots
* My incredibly sweet parents might be able to step in and tend the kids while we're gone.
* No one else in our family is sick yet.
* Packing for our trip was super easy thanks to the new luggage I recently bought.
I'm looking forward to a mostly smooth trip, and I will post again when we return!

Oh darn! What a crummy week. I hope things get better...what day do you take off again? And did you find a GPS? I totally forgot to call you back...and am just remembering now. GUILTY! AHHHH!!!
Oh good luck Cassie! When Mark and I went to London that night Ethan was back home with my mom with a fever of 103, very sick. But it turned out okay, as I am sure it will with you too. Try to enjoy your vacation. Time with husbands are very much needed!
That is a stinky deal. I'm sorry. Everything will work out. She'll be fine. Someone told me it's better to get the swine flu now, because it's like getting the chicken pox. They'll be less 'contagious' next time?
We cherish the time we've been able to spend with Gavin and Megan and would do it again in a heartbeat! We've made some precious memories!
