As many of you know 2.5 years ago Mark took up the hobby of flying remote control airplanes. He now has 4 airplanes (3 of which he built) and spends most Saturday mornings flying. He loves it and I love that he loves it. Last weekend we went to watch him fly his Twist for the first time. All flights were successful and both he and the plane came home undamaged.
Mark's sister Wendy put the Black Family Cresst into vinyl form for him to display on this plane.
Sometimes the biggest challenge is entertaining Gavin and Megan. Occasionally there are other children or puppies to help, but on this particular day we only had sugar to keep them occupied.
The kids loved the suckers and I was able to watch Mark. Yesterday was a huge "Fly-in" where people from all over bring their planes to fly. It was fun to see airplanes of all shapes, sizes, and flying capabilities. One man even had a mini jet which was very incredible to watch.

What a fun time to see all the planes come in. And I love the pics of Megan and Gavin playing with sand. SOOOO funny....so typical boy....
