For several months now I have been wanting to take the kids to the zoo and Temple Square in Salt Lake City. Both Gavin and Megan are curious and fascinated by their surroundings, so I thought now would be the perfect time. We stayed with Mark's brother Kent, his wife Mariam and their two kids D and K for a few days and we had so much fun!

Gavin was pretty convinced all the beutiful fountains were swimming pools! Of course we didn't let him jump in like he wanted, so he was content with splashing in the water instead.

Temple Square is one of the most amazing I have ever been. I love the spirit that I feel there, and the Christus especially reminds me of the love my Father in Heaven and Savior have for me and my precious family.

My adorable little girl!

I love to see the temple and want my children to see it often so they will want to set goals now to go inside it someday.

These are just a fraction of the pictures I took this weekend. Stay tuned for zoo pictures to come in the near future.

Your so lucky to go there. I've been wanting to for the longest time. I'm guessing it was pretty warm there since your not wearing any jackets. NICE!
How fun! It looks like you had a great time! Wish we could have spent the weekend with you guys too! --Jenny
I love temple square memories. Do you remember when Janet and Mel got married and we all took family pictures in the Joseph Smith Memorial building? Our entire family was there which was really neat (minus grandma and grandpa since they were on their missions) thanks for sharing you own little family temple square memories.
We haven't done Temple Square with the girls yet, but it is on our list. I am glad that you guys had a good time. And it looks like Halloween was fun too. Your kids are adorable.
Mindi :)
What a beautiful family! And what a special trip. Seth and I have wanted to do that with our kids for a while, but it seems like we're always rushing past Salt Lake on our way back home. We need to make a day-long pit-stop one of these times!
Cassie...adorable family picture on the top of your blog! You do have a very cute family and I enjoy reading your postings. Keep up the good work.
It's been a long time since I've been to Temple square! Thanks for the reminder of how beautiful it is!
