Gavin decided to start testing limits and it's interesting and often frustrating to watch him. This afternoon he carried a cup filled with water into the livingroom (which is not allowed), made eye contact with me, then poured it on my carpet! Following his time out for that incident, he wet his pants and giggled as he it happened. He's been potty trained for over a year, so I'm really hoping this is not a total relapse. I'm open to suggestions!
Mark worked a few hours extra tonight, so to help the time pass more quickly we made pizza.

Keep strong, I think it is just a phase. I am certainly not an expert though. It will all turn out alright. Your kids are so cute. I don't think I would dare to make pizza without Jason here to help. He would tell me that I am a panzy(sp?). Oh well, panzy or not, I will wait 'til the girls are a bit older before I try that one.
Mindi :)
We love to make pizza to pass the time...speaking of which, sounds like a great dinner for tonight...rainy days...pizza, yum. :)
What a day! I'm so sorry! I hope you've had better days since! The pizza looks yummy! I need to do that with my kids! I'm sure they'd have as much fun as Gavin did!
wow..after a day like that you still had it left in you to mke pizza, good for you cassie cousin! let's ee, suggestions for Gavin. My first instict was totally trying for some extra attention. You might allready do this but make a point to notice the good thing he does through the day. Next time he gets a drink and keeps it on the hard floor (or where it's allowed) totally go overboard by thanking him and telling him how happy it makes you when he keeps his drink in his cup and on the hard floor. Continue doing that with other things as well. Then you can slowly phase the it out to smiles and looks of approval verses looks of disaproval when he STARTS to di something wrong. Just make sure their is more attention when he does good things then there is attention when he does bad. Hope I don't sound preachy. Writing ideas actually gives me ideas too :) I often don't htink about these things until the question is posed and I'm writing away :) love to you Cassie cousin!
One thing about 3 yr. olds is they know how to push the limits. Just keep trying.
oh, so sorry about that. kids can be very wonderful or very frustrating! it must be the age, calder does stuff like that too.
