Answering the call of duty

In October 2005 Mark became a commissioned officer in Public Health Services, a branch in the United States Military. He enjoys his job and working for the federal government provides many opportunities and benefits the public sector does not. On Monday Rear Admiral Steven Galson, Acting U.S. Surgeon General (basically our nation's doctor) came to our town to speak about the dangers of underage drinking. Since Mark is a Lieutenant, he was asked to assist Dr. Galson during his two day visit here. What an honor! I am so proud of Mark and the opportunities he takes to learn and grow in his career.

Mark and Dr. Galson.

This uniform was pricy but worth it. He looks amazing! I love my man in uniform.
